Hotel Bardo was initially a family residence mansion built in 1888. Then, in the 1950s, the property was transformed into a mortuary. The hotel, which opened in February 2024, has already garnered acclaim from Southern Living, Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, and Interior Design.
